Chapel Vineyards Merlot

Old vines produce intense purple color in the glass, with ripe black cherry, cassis and blueberry on the nose and palate. Barrel-aged for six months' in fine French oak, for a subtle, spicy edge. Silky and elegant, it pairs beautifully with roast chicken, duck and pork, especially any dish involving a fruit-based sauce.
