Madre Goccia Chardonnay Blend

This stunning white is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Greco Bianco, filled with freshness and minerality. 'Madre Goccia' refers to the very first drops of juice that are pressed out of freshly harvested grapes. This 'mother drop' is thought to be the purest expression of what a grape has to offer a winemaker. Look forward to complex aromas and flavors of white flowers, pure citrus, intense peach and intriguing tropical fruits. Echoes of vanilla and cream (thanks to partial aging in fine French barriques) linger on the long finish. Madre Goccia makes a mouthwatering aperitif, or try it with crab cakes. If you’re not in the mood for seafood, it will also be terrific with rosemary chicken or hearty vegetarian casseroles.
