Schroeder Estate El Patrimonio
Inspired by the family’s pioneering legacy, El Patrimonio (“the heritage”) is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in new French and American oak barrels, if offers rich layers of ripe dark fruit, attractive spice and subtle mocha notes. Structured, yet still wonderfully smooth, it’s ready to enjoy now or age beautifully for years to come.

from 707 reviewsExcellent wine. Served to a group and all agreed that it was very good. Have since repurchased
As usual, it was a grest selection! I enjoyed it very much.
We have been "consuming" & enjoying this Primitivo for over a decade. In our minds this is the standard measure of Italian Primitivo's. Understanding that the grape is what the US calls Zinfandel, the Pillastro is very much like a CA Old Vine Zin - robust and fruit forward. It never disappoints.
Smooth, mellow, a real palate pleaser.
Great taste!
Good wine and great value
It’s a great tasting red wine, especially with Mexican food, which we consumed next-door
I have bought this several times and consistently enjoy it. Light, crisp.
