2008 was a outstanding vintage in Barolo, producing complex and boldly structured wines with great aging potential. Fresh red berry, violet and dark cherry notes combine with hints of leather mocha gleamed from 15 years maturation including 18 months in oak barrels. With firm supple tannins supporting juicy fruit notes on the lingering finish, Il Poeta Riserva is the perfect accompaniment for full-flavored dishes such as risotto with truffles , braised meats and rich pasta dishes. I recommend decanting a few hours before serving.

Gold Top Chardonnay

Delicious! Light, not sweet, but not tart, either. Low acidity. Pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, salads, and fruit. But, you can serve it with anything because its that good.

Wonderful wine, at first I thought it was going to be light in depth but after it opened up was really good. I also bought the more expensive reserve so can't wait to try it. For the money this tastes like a more expensive wine.
