Le Prince de Courthezon Cotes-du-Rhone
It’s little wonder that Le Prince de Courthézon is such a big favorite with customers as well as critics. It’s made by rising star Thierry Ferlay in a village cellar specializing in Châteauneuf-du-Pape as well as this exceptional value Côtes-du-Rhône. Thierry uses all the know-how behind his impressive Châteauneufs, and the same mix of grapes – juicy, ripe Grenache backed up by spicy Syrah and full-bodied Mourvédre. It’s a formula that gives his Côtes-du-Rhône waves of rich, yet elegant character. Expect aromas of ripe red fruit underpinned by black pepper and spicy oak. The palate is brimming with blackberry, raspberry and hints of herbs. It’s balanced, velvety smooth with a long, ripe finish. Serve with spicy pork sausages or French onion soup with a hunk of crusty bread.

Let customers speak for us
from 1608 reviewsAlways a great value and variety!
Really nice Bordeaux, good structure, definitely ageable.
Great selection at a great price. I've only sampled two of the premiums so far and both were excellent. Of course the selects are always a treat too.
It’s just really good wine. Fruit and body. Love it.
Delicious Saviongnes grapes to make this impeccable chianti 🍇 I would gladly buy this from the wine cellar again!
I thought the wine selection was excellent and a very good value. I was initially disappointed when I got home and checked the wines, only to find that there were three bottles of Premium wines instead of the four that had been advertised.
However, after contacting the store, they immediately apologized for the oversight and asked me to return so they could correct the mistake. To my surprise, the missing Premium bottle was replaced with one from their Ultimate Selection, which I truly appreciated.
Every company — and every person — makes mistakes from time to time. What separates first-class businesses is how they respond and make things right. That’s exactly what The Wine Cellar at Rye Ridge did.
Thank you from a satisfied long-term customer.

This wine had a nice light fruity flavor..Also, it is resonably priced. It is a good French wine.
Dry and refreshing
Love this. Dark berry, fruity and bold. Blackberry and cherry notes, with a bit of smoke. Very dry, but smooth and velvety. Easy to drink with everything, especially steak. Good with chocolate desert too--just saying.
This Portuguese beauty is my "go-to house favorite.
