At nearly 40 years old, it’s exceptionally mellow and overflows with rich dark fruit and earthy cedar nuances. Be advised that the cork might be crumbly – a totally natural feature in a mature wine like this. If it breaks, simply decant the wine, slowly rotating the bottle to catch the cork pieces in the shoulder. Decanting the wine will also help unleash its full aroma and flavor complexity.
